With lockdown restrictions now easing, it is understandable many of us may feel nervous or unsure of how to to move forward and resume a more social and active way of life. When the GP practice is closed and you need urgent medical advice one of the NHS 24 nurses will assess your symptoms.  If you need to see a doctor, the nurse will arrange this for you.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency.

Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.  

If you think someone's life is in danger and you need an ambulance, always dial 999.
