Coronavirus Vaccinations:

Over the next few weeks, we will be commencing the process of offering patient's over the age of 80 their first coronavirus vaccination. Those who are housebound will be vaccinated by our district and practice nursing teams in due course.

We have strict criteria to follow regarding who we offer the vaccine to, and at the moment, we will only be able to offer it to those over the age of 80, in line with national guidance.

We ask that you are patient with us while we get the vaccination programme up and running. To help up, please DO NOT contact the surgery requesting an appointment for vaccination. We will contact you.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this busy time. We look forward to getting our way out of the trials of the past 12 months!

Practice Management

Miss Janice McGhee (f)

Practice Manager

Janice is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Practice, ensuring high quality patient care and looking after human resources, patient safety, premises, equipment and information technology.  In her role as Practice Manager, Janice supports the GPs and other medical professionals to ensure the smooth running of the surgeries.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries and dealing with patient records.

Many of our receptionists are also skilled dispensary assistants and will make up prescriptions in Taynuilt Dispensary.
